Recently french TV channel France 3 aired a fascinating documentary about french mountain rescue in Chamonix. The show focuses on the particularly lethal summer climbing season of 2012. World-class HEMS done in a way you have never seen before. Some of the things the vast majority of us do once in a life-time they often do several times per day, almost all year round.
On youtube it is in five parts. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a sub-titled version. If you understand french it is a must-see. If you don’t, the footage should speak for itself.
